Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced the right lane of Interstate 10 Westbound near the North Lakeshore Drive Entrance Ramp to before the Calcasieu River Bridge will be closed from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly, beginning, Tuesday, July 7, 2026, through Thursday, July 9, 2026.
The closure is necessary for crews to conduct maintenance of roadway lighting. Work will be conducted weather permitting.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
