Shoulder closure: I-10 EB and WB (Mile Marker 25 to Mile Marker 31) - Calcasieu Parish

Calcasieu Parish - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces multiple singular shoulder closures on Interstate 10 Eastbound and Westbound and surrounding service roads from Mile Marker 25 to Mile Marker 31, beginning Saturday, July 4, 2026, through Tuesday, August 4, 2026.
Work will be conducted from the shoulders with no impairment to traffic. Work will be conducted weather permitting.
These closures are necessary for preconstruction activities (survey, soil borings), duct bank operations, maintenance inspections and repairs for bridges, guardrail, lighting, and drainage structures, moving operations, debris/litter removal, and mowing.
Safety reminder: DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment. Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
