CORRECTION - ROAD CLOSURE: LA 467 at CPKC crossing, Leesville, Vernon Parish
CORRECTED DATE: The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) advises motorists that beginning on Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at 7:00 a.m., LA 467 (E. Louisiana St.) at the Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC) Railroad crossing in Leesville, Vernon Parish will be fully closed.
This closure is scheduled to be in place until Thursday, July 2, 2026 at 7:00 p.m., and is necessary to allow CPKC crews to perform required maintenance work to the crossing.
This crossing is located between South First Street and South Third Street, just east of US 171 in Leesville.
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
Restrictions/Permits: Total road closure at the specified location. All vehicles will need to utilize an alternate route.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment. Remember to leave plenty of room between you and the vehicle in front of you.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
