DOTD announces $2.71 million improvement project on US 90: Broad St. to Fruge Road (Pamco Road) to begin July 6, 2026 – Calcasieu Parish

Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced that at $2.71 million project to improve on US 90 from Broad Street to Fruge Road (Pamco Road) is set to begin Monday, July 6, 2026.
Work includes patching, joint repair, cleaning, sealing grinding joints and asphalt leveling.
Motorists should expect directional roadway closures, with detour routes provided for each direction of travel. A 10-foot width restriction will be in place while construction is underway.
The project is anticipated to be completed by mid-January 2027, weather permitting.
Siema Construction is the contractor for the project.
