DOTD is publishing this notice on behalf of the Office of Louisiana Highway Construction (OLHC) for the LA 1047 Bridge Replacement.
There will be a full roadway closure at the LA 1047 Natalbany Creek Bridge located near LA 1047/LA 1048 intersection (.4 miles south of LA 1048 and 3 miles north of 1046) beginning Monday, June 29, 2026, at 7:00 a.m. through Wednesday, September 30, 2026, 7:00 p.m, while construction crews perform bridge replacement operations, weather permitting. The following detour will be posted to avoid the road closure:
Motorists traveling LA 1047 North may take LA 1046 West to LA 441, then North to re-intersect LA 1047 East
Motorists traveling LA 1047 South may take LA 1047 West to 441 South, to LA 1046 East to re-intersect LA 1047
