DOTD Announces Upcoming All-Way Stop Installation at LA 449 and Courtney/Varnado Road in Livingston Parish

Livingston Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists of an upcoming change in traffic control at the intersection of LA 449 (N. Corbin Rd.) and Courtney/Varnado Road in Livingston Parish.
Beginning the morning of Tuesday, July 7, DOTD will install an all-way stop at the intersection. The change was recommended following a traffic engineering review and is intended to improve safety at the intersection. Advance warning signs notifying motorists of the upcoming change are expected to be installed ahead of the traffic-control adjustment.
Motorists are encouraged to use caution when traveling through the area and to be aware of the new stop condition at the intersection.
