The Belle Chasse Bridge and Tunnel Replacement Project announces intermittent overnight lane closures on LA 23 in Belle Chasse to accommodate surveying work, weather permitting.
Closure Schedule:
• 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 24, to 5 a.m. Thursday, June 25, 2026
Intermittent lane closures on LA 23 at the approaches on each side of the Belle Chasse Bridge.
• 7 p.m. Thursday, June 25, to 5 a.m. Friday, June 26, 2026
Intermittent lane closures on LA 23 from Dale Avenue to Barriere Road.
Motorists should use caution while traveling through the work zone, remain alert for crews and equipment, and allow extra time for travel.
