UPDATE - REOPENED: LA 107 at LA 361, Avoyelles Parish

(UPDATE 6/29/2026): DOTD advises motorists that water has receded and LA 107 between Dupont and LA 361 in Avoyelles Parish is now OPEN to traffic.

All sections of LA 107 are fully open.

Original notification - 6/19/2026:

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that LA 107 from its intersection with LA 361 north to Plaucheville in Avoyelles Parish is closed due to high water conditions.

DOTD will advise when water has receded and the roadway has been reopened and is safe for travel.

DOTD reminds motorists that is unsafe and illegal to drive around ‘road closed’ barricades at any time for any reason.

Restrictions/Permits: Total road closure at the specified location. All vehicles will need to utilize an alternate route.
