UPDATE - REOPENED: LA 1180 south of Bodoc, Avoyelles Parish
(UPDATE 6/25/2026): DOTD advises motorists that water has receded and LA 1180 from LA 1179 to south of Bodoc is now OPEN to traffic.

Original notification - 6/19/2026:
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that LA 1180 from its intersection with LA 1179 to south of Bodoc (end of state maintenance) in Avoyelles Parish is closed due to high water conditions.
DOTD will advise when water has receded and the roadway has been reopened and is safe for travel.
DOTD reminds motorists that it is unsafe and illegal to drive around 'road closed' barricades at any time for any reason.
Restrictions/Permits: Total road closure at the specified location. All vehicles will need to utilize an alternate route.
