UPDATE: The work has been rescheduled for 8:00 PM on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, and ending at 5:00 AM on Thursday, June 25, 2026.
Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced that there will be a left lane closure in effect on I-10 westbound beginning at 8:00 PM on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, and ending at 5:00 AM on Thursday, June 25, 2026. The closure will begin near the Kirkman Street entrance ramp to I-10 Westbound and end at Exit 30A.
The closure is necessary for crews to conduct coring work. All work will conducted weather permitting.

Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
