(UPDATE 6/23/2026): DOTD advises motorists that water has receded and LA 107 between Plaucheville and Dupont (LA 1179) in Avoyelles Parish is now OPEN to traffic.
Please note that LA 107 south of Dupont remains closed due to high water at this time.

Road Closure Due to High Water
LA 107 (Main Street): Cottonport
Avoyelles Parish
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces effective immediately that LA 107 (Main Street) in Cottonport in Avoyelles Parish is closed due to high water. The high water is on LA 107 from LA 29 to the community college.

No detours are available at this time.
