NIGHTTIME ROAD CLOSURE: LA 3132 westbound at LA 511 (70th St.), Caddo Parish

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that on the night of Sunday, June 28, 2026, LA 3132 westbound between the LA 511 (70th Street) and I-20 interchanges in Shreveport, Caddo Parish will be closed as part of an ongoing project to replace overhead signage along LA 3132.

This full road closure (westbound direction only toward I-20) is scheduled to take place from approximately 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. for one (1) night, and is necessary to allow the contractor to install the overhead truss structures that hold the signs.

This work is being conducted at night to minimize the impact to traffic as much as possible. Motorists should be aware of the closure and make plans to utilize an alternate route. The eastbound direction will remain open to traffic.

Restrictions/Permits: Total westbound road closure at the specified location.

Alternate Route: Westbound motorists will be detoured via LA 511 (70th St) to Pines Road to I-20.

This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
