UPDATE: The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced that the left lane closure on I-10 westbound beginning on June 17, 2026 through June 18, 2026, from 8:00 PM - 5:00 AM has been CANCELLED.
Previous Notice:
Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced that the left lane of I-10 westbound will be closed from 8:00 PM - 5:00 AM beginning on June 17, 2026 through June 18, 2026. The closure will begin near the Kirkman Street entrance ramp to I-10 westbound and end at Exit 30A.
The closure is necessary for crews to conduct coring along main lane I-10. Work will be conducted weather permitting.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
