RESCHEDULED: I-10 Westbound at Exit 103B – I-49/US 167 (Opelousas), Lafayette Parish, Ramp Closure

UPDATE #2: Due to impacts from inclement weather, this work has been rescheduled to take place on the following date:
- Monday, June 22 at 8:00p.m. until Tuesday, June 23 at 6:00 a.m.
UPDATE: This closure has been rescheduled to Friday, June 19 at 9:00 p.m. until Saturday, June 20 at 9:00 a.m., weather permitting.
I-10 Westbound Exit Ramp at Exit 103B – I-49/US 167 (Opelousas) will be closed on Wednesday, June 17 at 8:00 p.m. until Thursday, June 18 at 6:00 a.m., weather permitting.
These ramp closures are necessary to allow crews to perform milling operations for the I-10 exit ramp.
Motorist traveling on I-10 WB will only be able to access I-49/US 167 via the posted detour route, which includes continuing westbound on I-10 to Exit 101 – LA 182 (N. University Avenue), turn south on LA 182, then take I-10 Eastbound to
Exit 103B – I-49/US 167 (Opelousas).
Emergency vehicles will not have access to the I-10 Westbound exit ramp at Exit 103B – I-49/US 167 (Opelousas).
Detour routes will be posted during the ramp closure periods.
There will be no vehicle width restrictions with this work.
