The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that on Thursday, June 11, 2026, from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, weather permitting, Bridge #083504550635551 and #083504550635552 on I-49 Northbound and Southbound bridges over JOHNSON CHUTE BAYOU will be reduced to one lane for routine bridge inspection. The bridge is located 6.29 miles North OF LA 6.
Permit/Detour section
No detour will be needed as one lane will be open at all times.
