**UPDATE**
Effective immediately, LA 1193 is back open to the traveling public.

Road Closure
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) advises the public that, effective immediately, LA 1193 is closed to through traffic.
The closure is necessary to allow for the repair of a failing cross drain on LA 1193, located approximately 1.25 miles from the intersection of LA 1193 and LA 107.
Permit/Detour section
Motorists traveling from LA 107 should utilize LA 453 as an alternate route.
