***UPDATE***The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that LA 27 (S. Grand Ave) south of Acme Street in DeQuincy is open. All repairs are complete.

Calcasieu Parish - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces there will be a full road closure at LA 27 (S. Grand Avenue) just south of Acme Street in DeQuincy on 12 p.m. Monday, June 8, 2026, to 12 p.m. Tuesday, June 9, 2026.
Motorists should use the following detour routes: (Detour routes are marked in blue)
- US 90 West to Toomey
- LA 109 North to Starks
- LA 12 East to DeQuincy
The road closure is necessary because of the railroad repairs.
