UPDATE:H.014258 LA 1 Port Allen Canal Bridge Replacement (Phase II) – West Baton Rouge Parish

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that East Frontage Road near the LA 1 Intracoastal Bridge will have intermittent flagging operations from Monday, June 8, 2026, to Tuesday, June 10, 2026, from 7:00am to 4:00pm. Additionally, the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that East Frontage Road between Phillips way and the OYO Hotel will have intermittent flagging operations from the night of Wednesday, June 10, 2026, to Friday, June 12, 2026, from 7:00pm to 4:00am.
The flagging operation is required to facilitate the delivery of concrete girders, and the road closure is necessary to allow the contractor to install concrete girders for the new LA 1 Northbound Bridge over the East Frontage Road.
