US 167 concrete repair project, Winnfield, Winn Parish
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) advises the public that on Monday, June 1, 2026 construction will begin on a project to repair a section of US 167 in Winn Parish.
This work will take place in Winnfield along US 167 from S Jones Street to Louisiana Street.
The intent of this project is remove and replace sections of the existing concrete pavement in the northbound and southbound lanes. Motorists should expect intermittent lane closures in both directions in order to allow construction activities to progress safely and efficiently.
The project was awarded to JB James Construction, LLC. in the amount of $755,161.20. The anticipated completion for the project is late August 2026, weather and other factors permitting.
Permit/Detour section
Thru traffic will be maintained at all times with oversize and emergency vehicles allowed passage. There will be no detour routes for this project.
