UPDATE: The notice below has been cancelled. A new media release was issued earlier today with a start date of June 22, 2026.
Previous Notice: Calcasieu Parish - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces a $760,550 project to perform restriping work on Interstate 10 in Lake Charles from Kirkman Street (Milepost 30.8) to the Interstate 210 East junction (Milepost 34.5) is scheduled to begin Monday, June 15, 2026.
Lane closures will occur from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly.
The project is funded through the Federal Highway Safety Improvement Program. It is expected to be completed in July 2026, weather permitting.
Safety Reminder: DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment. Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
