EXTENDED: LA 14 (Center Street) between E Pershing Street & E. St. Peter Street, Iberia Parish, Lane Closure

Update #1: Due to wet weather conditions this work has been extended until Friday, June 12 at 7:00 p.m., weather permitting.
LA 14 (Center Street) and E. Washington Street, .20 miles south of LA 182 E. Main Street, between E. Pershing Street and E. St Peter Street, will have alternating outside lane closures beginning on Monday, June 1 until Friday, June 5, to allow for underground utility installation.
These lane closures will occur, daily, from 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., weather permitting.
The road will be open to regular traffic with no lane restriction on oversized loads passing through the work zone.
No detour will be required and emergency vehicles will have access to the area but may encounter delays.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
