The Belle Chasse Bridge and Tunnel Replacement Project announces overnight inside lane closures (left lane) along Belle Chasse Highway (LA 23) between Dale Avenue and Barriere Road on Wednesday, May 27 and Thursday, May 28, weather permitting.
Closure Schedule
• Nightly from 7 p.m. – 5 a.m. the following morning
• Inside lane closures in both directions
These closures are necessary to allow crews to perform construction activities associated with the Belle Chasse Bridge and Tunnel Replacement Project.
Motorists are encouraged to drive with caution through the work zone and remain alert for crews and equipment.
