UPDATE - REOPENED: US 165 in Pollock, Grant Parish
(UPDATE 5/21/2026): DOTD advises motorists that US 165 in Grant Parish has been reopened.

Original notification:
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that, effective immediately, US 165 in Pollock, Grant Parish is closed due to a law enforcement operation taking place.
Traffic is currently being diverted off US 165 near the town limits of Pollock in both the northbound and southbound directions.
Inquiries about the operation should be directed to either Louisiana State Police or the Grant Parish Sheriff’s Office.
DOTD will issue an update when the roadway has been reopened.
Restrictions/Permits: Total road closure at the specified location. All vehicles will need to utilize an alternate route.
Alternate Route: Northbound traffic is being diverted to LA 8 and southbound traffic is being diverted to LA 123 and over to US 167.
