***UPDATE***Lane closure: I-10 WB from Exit 8 to Exit 7 – Calcasieu Parish

UPDATE: This closure has been rescheduled due to weather.
Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced that the right lane on Interstate 10 Westbound from Exit 8 to Exit 7 will be closed from 7 p.m. Thursday, May 28, 2026, to 6 a.m. Friday, May 29, 2026.
The closure is necessary for crews to complete roadway maintenance. The Exit 8 WB on-ramp remains closed. All closures are weather dependent.

Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
