Update (6/15/2026): US 65 in Tensas Parish, Project#4400033949 - Closure#2, has been extended until Monday, June 22, 2026.

(5/26/2026) US 65 in Tensas Parish, Project#4400033949 - Closure#2, will be closed beginning Wednesday, May 27, 2026, until approximately Tuesday, June 16, 2026, to complete roadway patching. The contractor will provide provisions for local traffic to residences located within the closure.

Closure Detour: LA 568 to LA 128 to US 65

(5/19/2026) US 65 in Tensas Parish, Project#4400033949 - Closure#2, from the intersection of US 65 and LA 568 near Goldman to the intersection of US 65 and LA 128 near Avondale will have alternating lane closures (No night work expected) beginning Friday, May 22, 2026, until approximately Friday, May 29, 2026, for the contractor to prepare and prepare patching locations.

The contractor will then close the location on Friday, May 29, 2026, until approximately Wednesday, June 17, 2026, to complete the roadway patching. The contractor will provide provisions for local traffic to residences located within the closure.

Alternating Lane Closure Schedule: Monday through Saturday from 6:00 am - 7:00 pm (No night work expected).
Alternating Lane Closure Permit: Alternating lane closures with a 12' restriction (5/22 - 5/29).
Closure Detour: LA 568 to LA 128 to US 65 (5/29 - 6/17).
