Closure: LA 82 in Creole from LA 27 to Trosclair Road – Cameron Parish

Cameron Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced that LA 82 from LA 27 to Trosclair Road will have the following closures on Thursday, May 21, 2026.
- Alternating single lane closure: 8 a.m. until 3 p.m.
- Full road closure: 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
Detour:
Motorists can detour via LA 27 and Trosclair Road.
The closure is necessary for electrical utility work.

Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
