Lane closure: I-10 EB (Exit 27 – Exit 29) - Calcasieu Parish

Calcasieu Parish - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced lane closures along I-10 Eastbound from Exit 27, LA 378 (Sampson Street), ending at Exit 29 (North Lakeshore Drive).
The closures will be in effect from 4 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, May 17, 2026. The left lane will be closed first, followed by the right lane.
This is necessary for crews to make repairs to roadway east of the Calcasieu River Bridge. Work will be weather permitting.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
