Alternating lane closure: LA 14 SB from E. Prien Lake Rd. to Derek Dr. – Calcasieu Parish

Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced that there will be alternating lane closures on LA 14 Southbound from E. Prien Lake Road to Derek Drive from 7 p.m. Friday, May 15, 2026, to 7 a.m. Saturday, May 16, 2026.
A 12-foot width restriction will be in place throughout the duration of the closure.
These closures are necessary for crews to perform pavement patching.

Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
