US90B Harvey Tunnel: Upcoming Overnight Closures (Jefferson Parish)

Bridge City, La. - Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces the US90B/Harvey Tunnel in Jefferson Parish will undergo overnight full closures for testing procedures and related work.
The tunnel will be fully closed to vehicular traffic from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. during the following periods:
• Monday, May 11, 2026, through Sunday, May 17, 2026 (ending 6 a.m., Sunday, May 17)
• Tuesday, May 19, 2026, through Friday, May 22, 2026 (ending 6 a.m., Friday, May 22)
Motorists should use the following alternate routes:
• US 90 Business Elevated Expressway
• LA 18 (4th Street)
These closures are necessary to allow crews to perform testing procedures and related work associated with the Harvey Tunnel project.
DOTD appreciates the public’s patience and reminds motorists to drive with caution near the work zone and remain alert for crews and equipment.
