I-10 Westbound at Exit 72 – Trumps Road (Egan), Acadia Parish, Ramp Closure

I-10 Westbound Exit Ramp at Exit 72 – Trumps Rd (Egan) will be closed on Thursday, May 14 at 8:00 p.m. until Friday, May 15 at 6:00 a.m. weather permitting.
These ramp closures are necessary to allow crews to perform milling and asphalt operations for the I-10 exit ramp.
Motorist traveling on I-10 WB will only be able to access Exit 72 – Trumps Road (Egan) via the posted detour route, which includes continuing westbound on I-10 to Exit 65 – LA 97 (Jennings, Evangeline), turn south on LA 97, then take I-10 Eastbound to Exit 72 – Trumps Road (Egan).
Emergency vehicles will not have access to the I-10 Westbound exit ramp at Exit 72 – Trumps Road (Egan).
Detour routes will be posted during the ramp closure periods.
There will be no vehicle width restrictions with this work.
