LA 82 Bridge over Drainage Canal, Vermilion Parish, Bridge Closure

LA 82 Bridge over Drainage Canal, located 3.25 miles east of LA 35, will be closed to all vehicular traffic on Saturday, May 16, and is expected to remain closed for the next 4 months, weather permitting.
This closure is necessary for the removal and replacement of the bridge.
Emergency vehicles will not have access to the area. A detour route will be posted for the duration of the closure.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
