Lane Closure / I-20 Mississippi River Bridge in Vicksburg

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that the eastbound outside lane of the I-20 Vicksburg Bridge will be closed from approximately 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 19th, 2026 through Thursday, May 21st, 2026. The westbound outside lane of the I-20 Vicksburge Bridge will be closed from approximately 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 26th, 2026 through Thursday, May 28th, 2026.
This lane closure is necessary to allow crews to perform routine bridge inspections.
These maintenance operations will be performed weather permitting.
Restrictions:
Maximum vehicle width is 12 feet during the lane closures.
Detour:
No formal detour will be established.
