Overnight Closure Scheduled for US90B/Harvey Tunnel (Jefferson Parish)

Bridge City, La. - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces the Harvey Tunnel on US 90 Business will be fully closed to vehicular traffic overnight on Thursday, May 7, 2026, for utility-related lighting work.
The closure will be in effect from 7 p.m. Thursday evening until 6 a.m. Friday morning, weather permitting.
Motorists should use the following alternate routes:
• Westbank Expressway (US 90B)
• LA 18 (4th Street)
DOTD reminds motorists to drive with caution near the work zone and to remain alert for crews and equipment.
