***UPDATE***Lane closure: I-10 Westbound (Exit 26 – PPG Drive Overpass) - Calcasieu Parish

UPDATE: Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced a left lane closure of Interstate 10 Westbound from 8 p.m. – 5 a.m. nightly, beginning Sunday, May 10, 2026, through Tuesday, May 12, 2026. The closure will begin at Exit 26, PPG Drive/Trousdale and end at the base of the PPG Drive overpass.
The closure is necessary for crews to install temporary barrier rail along the inside shoulder. Work Will be conducted weather permitting.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
