***UPDATE***US 171 SB at Opelousas Street (LA 3020) – Calcasieu Parish

UPDATE: Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced that US 171 Southbound at the intersection of Opelousas Street (LA 3020) is open to traffic.
Until further notice, motorists should approach the intersection as a four-way stop.
DOTD will issue an update once the traffic signal at the intersection is operating.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
