The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces lane closures along LA 39 (W. Judge Perez Drive) in Plaquemines Parish from Monday, May 18 through Friday, May 22, weather permitting, for sidewalk, curb ramp, and roadway improvement work.

Daytime Closures

Northbound LA 39 between De La Ronde Drive and Norton Avenue
Daily from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Right lane closures
Crews will perform concrete sidewalk removal and installation operations.

Nighttime Closures

Northbound & Southbound LA 39 between Norton Avenue and Montesquieu Street
Nightly from 7 p.m. – 6 a.m. (ending Saturday morning, May 23)
Alternating left and right lane closures
Crews will perform concrete curb ramp and concrete patching operations.

DOTD appreciates the public’s patience and reminds motorists to drive with caution through the work zone and remain alert for crews and equipment.
