New Orleans - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces a full closure of the Harvey Bridge (LA 18 / 4th Street) in both directions on Friday, May 1 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM for routine bridge maintenance.
The bridge will remain open to marine traffic on an as-needed basis.
Alternate routes: Harvey Tunnel or US 90B
Motorists should plan accordingly and use caution when traveling in the area.
