Closure: I-10 EB exit and entrance ramp (Exit 44) – Jefferson Davis Parish

Jefferson Davis Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced the Interstate 10 Eastbound entrance ramp and exit ramp (Exit 44) will be closed from 7 p.m. until 5 a.m. nightly on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, and Thursday, May 7, 2026.
Detour information:
- I-10 EB entrance ramp: Motorists can detour via US 165 south to US 90, east to LA 101, then north to I-10 EB on-ramp at LA 101.
- I-10 EB exit ramp: Motorists can detour via I-10 EB Exit 43 (Iowa), south on LA 383, then east on US 90, then north on US 165
The closure is necessary for crews to complete asphalt paving and striping work associated with I-10 Overpass over US 165 project.
