Closure: I-10 WB entrance ramp (MM 44-46) – Jefferson Davis Parish

Jefferson Davis Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced the Interstate 10 Westbound entrance ramp (Mile Marker 44 to Mile Marker 47) will be closed from 7 p.m. until 5 a.m. nightly, on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, and Thursday, May 7, 2026.
Detour information:
Motorists can detour via US 165 south to US 90, west to LA 383 then north to the Westbound on-ramp at LA 383.
The closure is necessary for crews to complete asphalt paving and striping work associated with I-10 Overpass over US 165 project.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
