Closure: E. Roosevelt St. at the intersection with LA 14 – Calcasieu Parish

Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced that E. Roosevelt Street will be closed at the intersection with LA 14 from 7 p.m. Monday, May 4, 2026, through 7 a.m. Tuesday, May 5, 2026.
Detour information:
- Drivers wanting to travel EB on E Roosevelt St. to the intersection with LA 14 would detour Hoover Cir. NB, then EB on Monroe St.
- Drivers wanting to travel WB on E Roosevelt St. would detour WB on Monroe St., then SB on Hoover Circle.
The closure is necessary for crews to conduct pavement patching.
