I-20 in Madison Parish, Lane Closures; OLHC PA 0500021

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development and the Office of Louisiana Highway Construction advises motorists that beginning Monday, May 18, 2026, there will be lane closures on Interstate 20 in Madison Parish. The lane closures will begin 1.9 miles east of LA 577 and continue to Walnut Bayou. The lane closures are required for construction crews to install new asphalt surfacing on the interstate. This work will be weather permitting. The lane closures in this area are anticipated to be in service until May of 2027.
Permit/Detour Section
Restrictions: There are no restrictions to traffic at this time.
Detour: Formal detour routes are not required at this time. I-20 East and West will be open to all traffic.
