LANE CLOSURES: I-49 near LA 511 (70th St.), Caddo Parish The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that on Saturday, May 2nd and Sunday, May 3, 2026, there will be intermittent lane closures on I-49 in both directions at the LA 511 (70th Street) interchange (Exit 202) in Shreveport, Caddo Parish.
These lane closures will involve the outside (right) lanes of I-49 northbound and southbound on both days from approximately 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. each day, and are necessary to allow crews to perform repairs to the roadway joints.
The on and off-ramps at 70th Street will remain open during this work.
Restrictions/Permits: N/A
Alternate Route: No detour is necessary for this work.
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
