Herbicide application: I-10 EB and WB from Vinton to Acadia Parish Line – Calcasieu and Jefferson Davis Parish

Calcasieu and Jefferson Davis Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced crews will be conducting herbicide application along Interstate 10 Eastbound and Westbound from Vinton to the Acadia Parish Line from 8 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. daily on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, and Thursday, April 30, 2026.
Motorists can expect lane closures while the herbicide application is occurring.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
