Construction is underway for State Projects 4400032974. This State Project is to replace drainage structures on various State route in Ascension, and Iberville Parishes. LA 931 is scheduled to have alternating lane closures Friday, May 1st, 2026 between Joe Sevario and Stonegate Manor Drive. This closure is scheduled to take place between 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Flaggers will be on site to direct traffic through the work zone. One lane of travel will be maintained at all times. Motorists should expect delays when traveling through the work zone. Weekend closures should be expected Saturday, May 2nd thru Sunday, May 3rd on LA 931 (Germany Road) in Ascension Parish between Joe Sevario and Stonegate Manor Drive. No thru traffic will be allowed. Motorists should utilize the following detour: LA 931 EB: Turn south on LA 44 (Burnside) to LA 621. Take a left onto LA 621 EB to LA 431. Take a left onto LA 431 to LA 931. Take a left onto LA 931 to complete the detour. LA 431 WB: Turn south on LA 431 to LA 621. Take a right onto LA 621 WB to LA 44 (Burnside). Take a right onto LA 44 to LA 931. Take a right onto LA 931 to complete the detour. This closure is necessary for replacing a cross drain. This closure is subject to change due to adverse weather conditions.
