UPDATE - REOPENED: LA 15 Stowe Creek Bridge in Farmerville, Union Parish (UPDATE 4/20/2026): DOTD advises motorists that these repairs are complete and LA 15 in Union Parish has been reopened to traffic. Original notification - 4/19/2026:
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that IMMEDIATELY on Sunday, April 19, 2026, the LA 15 bridge over Stowe Creek 1.9 miles east of LA 33 in Farmerville, Union Parish, will be closed.
This closure is scheduled to be in place from now until approximately 3:00 p.m. on Monday, April 20, 2026, and is necessary to allow for emergency repairs to the bridge approach.
This bridge is located approximately1.9 miles east of LA 33.
Restrictions/Permits: Total bridge closure at the specified location. All vehicles must utilize an alternate route.
Alternate Route: Detour signage will be in place.
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
