Alternating lane closure: LA 14 SB from E. Prien Lake Rd. to Derek Drive – Calcasieu Parish

Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced there will be alternating lane closures on LA 14 Southbound from East Prien Lake Road to Derek Drive, from 7 p.m. until 7 a.m. nightly, beginning Sunday, April 19, 2026, through Tuesday, May 5, 2026.
A 12-foot width restriction will be in place while the closures are in effect.
The closure is necessary for crews to conduct pavement patching.

Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
