LADOTD Announces Upcoming Roadway Improvements on LA 34: 0.3 MI S LA 617 - US 80 in Ouachita Parish

A Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (LADOTD) project to repair LA 34: 0.3 MI S LA 617 - US 80 in Ouachita Parish is scheduled to begin April 20, 2026.
The $6,784,505.26 construction contract was awarded to Progressive Construction Co., LLC The project consists of asphalt concrete milling, pavement patching, signal vehicle detection systems, and related work.
The project remains on track, with completion currently projected for February 2027, weather permitting.
LIMITS: Located on LA 34 from approximately 125 feet North of its junction with Stokes Lane to its junction with Route US 80, as shown in the plans.
Lane closures will be permitted one lane at a time only, ensuring that through traffic is maintained at all times.
