NEW START TIME: I-10 Eastbound at Exit 72 – Trumps Road (Egan), Acadia Parish, Ramp Closures

UPDATE: I-10 Eastbound Entrance and Exit Ramp at Exit 72 – Trumps Road (Egan) will be closed on Sunday, April 19 at 7:00 p.m. until Monday, April 20 at 6:00 a.m., weather permitting.
I-10 Eastbound Entrance and Exit Ramp at Exit 72 – Trumps Road (Egan) will be closed on Sunday, April 19 at 8:00 p.m. until Monday, April 20 at 6:00 a.m., weather permitting.
These ramp closures are necessary to allow crews to perform milling operations for the I-10 entrance and exit ramps.
Motorist traveling on I-10 EB will only be able to access Exit 72 – Trumps Road (Egan) via the posted detour route, which includes continuing eastbound on I-10 to Exit 76 - LA 91 (Estherwood, Iota), turn north on LA 91, then take I-10 Westbound to Exit 72 – Trumps Road (Egan).
Motorist traveling on Trumps Road will only be able to access I-10 EB via the posted detour route, which includes taking I-10 WB to Exit 65 - LA 97 (Jennings, Evangeline), turn south on LA 97, then take I-10 Eastbound.
Emergency vehicles will not have access to the I-10 Eastbound entrance and exit ramp at Exit 72 – Trumps Road (Egan).
Detour routes will be posted during the ramp closure periods.
There will be no vehicle width restrictions with this work.
