Overnight Closures Scheduled for Harvey Tunnel for Electrical Testing (Jefferson Parish)

HARVEY, La. – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces that the eastbound and westbound US 90B Harvey Tunnel will be closed to vehicular traffic nightly from 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., beginning Monday, April 13, through Friday, April 24, 2026 (ending the morning of Saturday, April 25), for electrical testing.
These closures are part of the ongoing Harvey Tunnel Project.
During the closures, motorists may use the elevated US 90 Business (Westbank Expressway) as a detour.
Motorists are advised to plan accordingly, allow extra travel time, and use caution when traveling through the area.
