Lane closure: I-10 Eastbound Left & Right Lane (Exit 27 – Exit 29) - Calcasieu Parish

Calcasieu Parish - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced single lane closures along Interstate 10 Eastbound from Exit 27 (Sampson Street) to Exit 29 (North Lakeshore Drive) from 8 p.m. Thursday, April 9, 2026, until 5 a.m. Friday, April 10, 2026.
The left lane will be closed first. Once complete, the right lane will then be closed, and left lane will open.
This is necessary for crews to survey roadway east of the Calcasieu River Bridge. Work will be weather permitting.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment. Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
